By day I am Design and Strategy practitioner using human-centred design to solve the needs of users, with a keen interest on digital products, services and cultural change. With years of interdisciplinary design experience understanding users and clients by framing, re-framing and solving complex problems using an array of skills in various capacities such as testing new business opportunities and ideas, leading qualitative and quantitative data activities, managing sprint/project teams, rapid prototyping, detailed design and developing strategy.

Clients I have worked within a strategic design capacity include a number of Australian State and Federal government agencies, EY, and Lendlease.

Beyond work I love to share my knowledge and experiences. I have taught the User Experience Design Immersive class at General Assembly and been a guest speaker for design sessions in Sydney and London.

User Research

In a previous life, I worked in a creative direction and visual communication capacity. Brands I have worked for include Hype DC, Stylerunner, OneFineStay, Farfetch, The White Company, MAXMEDIALAB, Witchery, eBay Fashion Australia & Audi Australia.

I like to think of myself as a culturalist. I am here all day every day for the diverse representation of black culture in Australia and being part of the African diaspora conversation. Between 2009 and 2019 I ran Afroklectic, a space which captured the creative stories of African-Australians. Although I am not active, space is an archive from that period of time.

I have continued to be part of that conversation with my involvement with the Fufu & Tibs podcast (2020 - 2024).
